So here’s the short VFX work I’ve been doing lately. It came time where I was like ok, I’m just done with this. Most of the time was spent tweaking things to get different results.

And a little more info:

1st: Film.
2nd: Import into Premiere Pro.
3rd: Take into After Effects, deinterlace, mask out the pen in 3rd shot

Things To Come

So here’s a list of things you should be expecting:

  1. Another glass shattering video = 100%
    All that’s left is rendering
  2. A short VFX film = 70%
    Doing the VFX for the last scene
  3. Not so short short film (mockumentary) = Pre Production
    If you remember the one about the guy who lives in the forest, that’s this. I’ve overcome writers block and have begun writing the ending.
  4. Not short at all film (action) = Pre Production

Rain

So I modeled a ceiling fan for the living room, another one with lights for the bedroom, a couch for the living room, and a lamp for the foyer.
The bedroom lamps look weird because they were too bright, and I had to turn the intensity way down, and that made them less white and more black. Weird.

Check it out

So I modeled a fridge and a microwave for the kitchen.
I also got some of the lights done for both of the rooms. Recessed lights for the living room and a 4×2 flourescent fixture for the kitchen. I turned the sun all the way off so you could see it more, and also used a different lens so you could see more of the room and the lights.… Read the rest

Colorblind

So here’s another combo update. Two new views from the house. I didn’t do much though. Just a little material and light tweaking.

And the Zinnia has started to bloom. I’m guessing it’s a kind of blue-ish color (I’m color blind). Also, it started another two branches from under this bloom, (you can see in the bottom left a part of one) and each of those has another miniature bloom bud coming out. Sorry

For the long wait.

The truth is, this image has been rendering since before the last update. I kicked the settings up too high. But I didn’t have the heart to stop it.

ALSO:

I just changed the theme. It’s one I’ve been working on today and yesterday, though it’s not much other than a modified version of the default theme.
This brings up two things.

  1. I’d like to know what you think. 
  2. To do that, you should comment.
