Sunflower is getting quite big. Actually, about 2-3 times as big as the last set of sunflowers. I will seriously need to rethink lighting soon.

My new lens came in today, Sigma 24/2.8 Ultra-Wide II, although on an APS-C sensor it’s just wide 😛
I immediately took it to my sunflower. The little guy is basically hugging the lamp it’s so tall, so I moved it up an inch, but I moved it up quite a bit for these pictures. The lens is also like a macro, considering I was VERY close to touching the plant when I was taking these.… Read the rest
An ever growing wonder
So I planted a new Sunflower a few days ago, and instead of planting the dwarf variety I planed the Mammoth (12ft) Sunflower. Considering the dwarfs were smaller than I thought they’d be, maybe the Mammoth growing inside will be a reasonable height. And on that note, it’s growing MUCH faster than the others. A Wonderful Day
So I went outside this morning and saw three full blooms on each of the sunflowers. And if you didn’t know I’ve got about four peppers on the pepper plant, two ready to be taken off anytime. So I figured it’s about time for a picture plant update.
What all has happened? First Teddy Bear sunflower head was cut off, two new ones are forming. More Zinnias. Trimmed everything off peppers, they’re growing leaves again, though really only from the top lol. Sunflower’s insides have grown more, but I guess it doesn’t have enough light to open up.… Read the rest
Transplanted

So I’ve moved the newest plants outside and out of their little containers. The tomato plant’s roots were everywhere at the bottom and some fell out, shocking the plant and it died. So I’ll start another one and transplant it really soon. The rest of the roots weren’t bad, all compact but definitely needed more space. Hopefully they weren’t shocked when I moved them.
